Two new staff members, Michelle Knight and Liliya Bychuk, recently joined the Institutional Advancement team at The Institute of World Politics.
Michelle Knight (pictured at left), who will serve as IWP’s Assistant Director of Foundations, will work with the school’s foundation supporters and will assist with planned giving and alumni fundraising. Prior to joining IWP, she has served several organizations assisting with major gift development, event planning, board development, grant writing, and strategic planning. As a freelancer, she has provided grant and proposal writing services to nonprofits helping them to secure more funding. She holds a B.A. in World History from Messiah College.
Liliya Bychuk (pictured at right) is IWP’s new Advancement Manager, in which role she will assist with various development projects at the Institute. Previously, she was part of the donor relations department at a local human rights organization. She has also worked in special education at an elementary school and was involved in international affairs advocacy. She holds a B.A. in American Government from American University and an A.A. degree from American River College.
