2014-15 IWP Army War College Fellow COL Edward Chamberlayne was awarded the AWC Foundation MG Harold J. Greene Memorial Writing Award for the paper he wrote during his fellowship at the Institute.
The award was named in honor of Major General Harold J. Greene, who was killed last August in Afghanistan. He was the highest ranking officer to be killed in either Afghanistan or Iraq. COL Chamberlayne is pictured below with General Raymond Odierno after being recognized at the U.S. Army War College graduation this June.
