IWP professor Joseph Wood recently participated in a panel discussing Michael Walsh’s book, The Devil’s Pleasure Palace: The Cult of Critical Theory and the Subversion of the West. The panel, which took place at the Heritage Foundation on January 28th, consisted of four speakers, including the author himself.
Prof. Wood focused on three topics of Mr. Walsh’s book which he deemed most important: the abandonment of the notion of telos, the concept of nihilism, and the dissociation between language/speech and reality.
The event was hosted by John Edward Hilboldt, Director of Lectures and Seminars and co-hosted by the Center for Family and Human Rights.
