She graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University with a B.F.A. with honors in acting with a French minor.  Later, Ms. Muravchik received her M.A. in French from George Mason University, where she was a three-time Crème de la Crème Award recipient, and received the Modern and Classical Language Department Best Thesis Award in 2013.

IWP Dean Mackubin Owens comments: “We are happy to welcome Madeline aboard. She has been teaching at IWP for a while, and we are happy to make it official.  We look forward to continuing to work with her.”
