New Students Fall 2016 444x718This semester, The Institute of World Politics welcomed a class of 117 students, including 52 new students and 65 returning students. This class represents an increase in enrollment from fall 2015, as well as a larger incoming class.

IWP’s new students hail from colleges and universities around the world.  They have worked at think tanks, defense contractors, local government, and federal government. In addition to several students pursuing graduate studies immediately after college, IWP’s incoming class includes a medical doctor, a retired US Naval Intelligence Officer, and a former candidate for US Congress.

What will they be taking this semester? Our new students are enrolled in classes covering several arts of statecraft, including economics, irregular warfare, political warfare, counterintelligence, and others.
