Angela Messer of Booz Allen Hamilton discusses innovation in cyber

Angela MesserOn November 4, 2016, The Institute of World Politics Cyber Intelligence Initiative hosted a breakfast event featuring Angela M. Messer, Executive Vice President, Booz Allen Hamilton.  This event was sponsored by IWP’s Cyber Intelligence Initiative (CII) as part of a series of guest lectures titled “New Initiatives in Cyber” and was very well received by an audience comprised of IWP students, alumni, faculty and executives, as well as professionals from Industry and the US Government.

Ms. Messer’s topic — “Innovation in Cyber – Why it is Essential” — was a very relevant and engaging presentation focusing on how innovation can open the door to both opportunity and vulnerability. Ms. Messer discussed how leaders today need to be prepared to use more innovative approaches in cybersecurity as they seek to embrace opportunity, while minimizing their vulnerability to devastating and sophisticated cyber attacks.

Ms. Messer leads Booz Allen Hamilton’s Cybersecurity business responsible for delivering next generation cyber innovations and solutions to commercial, government and international clients.
