Dr. Lenczowski offers insights on information warfare at the Heritage Foundation

Last Monday, February 13, Dr. John Lenczowski, founder and president of the IWP, shared his thoughts on information warfare as a panelist at the Heritage Foundation.  The event was entitled “iWar: Waging Warfare in the Information Age.”

Dr. Lenczowski illustrated a pressing need for a “multi-pronged effort of both government agencies and non-governmental organizations” that goes beyond the U.S. Department of State in order to fight the war of ideas.  He noted that he is hopeful that the new administration will draft international policies that better represent the will of the American people than those of President Obama.

Joining Dr. Lenczowski on the panel were Bill Gertz, who recently presented his book, iWar: War and Peace in the Information Age, at IWP, and Alberto M. Fernandez, Vice President of the Middle East Media Research Institute.
