This spring, The Institute of World Politics set a new record for enrollment with 150 students. 22 new students joined the Institute, and two alumni have returned to enroll in IWP’s new doctoral program.
IWP’s new students hail from schools around the country and internationally, including Indiana University; California State University, Fullerton; Towson University; Hillsdale College; Tulane University; American University; George Mason University; the London School of Economics; and others.
The new class includes a Fulbright Scholar, a former U.S. Army interrogator, a political consultant, and a government relations professional. IWP’s first doctoral students are Brandon Weichert and Captain Paris Michaels.
“I am so pleased to see so many who are so dedicated to the defense of the United States and that of our allies,” commented IWP Director of Graduate Recruitment Tim Stebbins, who worked with many of the new students during the application process. “They have chosen a cause far higher than themselves. It is tremendously encouraging.”
This is the second semester in a row in which IWP has had a record enrollment.
