New book by Dr. Matthew Daniels discusses human rights in the digital age

Human Liberty 2.0: Advancing Universal Rights in the Digital AgeIn June 2019, a new book entitled Human liberty 2.0: Advancing Universal Rights in the Digital Age by IWP professor Dr. Matthew Daniels will be published by Post Hill Press.

In this book, Dr. Daniels presents over two dozen true stories of teens and adults using the power of digital and social media to make the world a better place and advance the cause of human rights.

Dr. Daniels heads the Center for Human Rights and International Affairs at IWP, which offers students the opportunity to engage in a practicum project that focuses on the same type of activity discussed in his book — promoting human rights and positive messages through digital media to audiences around the world.

Dr. Daniels, IWP’s Chair of Law and Human Rights, also teaches a course on Human Rights and Counter-Radicalization which deals with some of these same themes.

He plans to discuss his book at an IWP event this coming June.
