IWP is pleased to welcome Heidi Le Baron Leupp, an active community volunteer and former marketing and retail executive, to its Board of Advisors.
“We are delighted and honored to welcome Heidi Leupp to the IWP Advisory Board,” commented IWP Vice Chairman John Lovewell. “Heidi and her husband, Jay, have been leaders in the Lincoln Club and higher education causes in the San Francisco Bay Area. Heidi has been particularly effective in promoting support among women for responsible fiscal and national security policies. She brings a sense of optimism, organizational ability, and energy to the cause.”
Ms. Leupp focuses her volunteer efforts primarily on education. She serves on the Santa Clara University Board of Trustees, is President Emerita of the SCU National Alumni Association and serves on the SCU Board of Fellows. She is also an emerita member of the SCU Board of Regents. She serves on the Board of Trustees at St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco, chairing the Audit Committee. She serves on the Parent Leadership Committee at Boston College.
In the past, she served as the co-president of the Parent Association at Sacred Heart Preparatory in Atherton. She has also served on the Ignatian Guild at St. Ignatius and has been involved with the ICA Cristo Rey in San Francisco. Ms. Leupp founded Enlightened Women, a group that fosters education on policy issues to develop a more informed electorate.
She spent much of her career in the fashion industry as the Marketing Director for Levi’s Personal Pair Jeans, as the National Retail Marketing Director for Levi Strauss and as a retail executive for various department stores, including Macy’s, The Emporium, and Weinstocks in California and Maas Brothers-Jordan Marsh in Tampa, FL.
