IWP re-establishes Institutional Research and Assessment Committee

In August 2022, IWP re-established its Institutional Research and Assessment Committee (IRAC), which was originally established in 2011.

IRAC serves as the assessment oversight body for IWP. In this capacity, it ensures that assessments are done as planned in IWP’s Institutional Effectiveness Assessment Plan (IEAP) and educates staff and faculty on how to do assessments properly.

IRAC focuses on the improvement of the assessment structure and implementation, assessment education for all areas of the Institute, establishment of timetables and goals, planning assessment activities, reviewing and critiquing assessment plans, and identifying assessment needs or deficiencies. IRAC also ensures compliance with accreditation assessment standards and creates a culture where the assessment of student learning outcomes and departmental services are valued and used across the organization.

Members of IRAC include Iman Riddick, Registrar and Assistant Dean; Mallorie Marino, Academic Director; Jason Johnsrud, Dean of Students and Senior Vice President; Dr. David Glancy, Professor of Strategy and Statecraft; Walter Brown, Director of Accounting; and Katie Bridges, Vice President for Alumni Affairs, Communications, and Events.
