From September 27-30, IWP hosted a Strategic Leadership Seminar for a group of personnel and contractors from Ft. Bragg.
The seminar was broken up into three main themes: the art of statecraft, the strategic environment, and policy challenges.
The specific lecture topics by IWP faculty members included the Constitution and U.S. foreign policy; an overview of the National Defense Strategy and National Security Strategy; public diplomacy and strategic influence; intelligence, counterintelligence, and covert action; grand strategy; ideological war; “Winning Without War;” weapons of mass destruction; and cyber terrorism, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Discussions were also held about policy challenges in specific regions, including Iran, Russia, and China.
This event was part of IWP’s Strategic Leadership Seminar program, in which the Institute offers an intensive, customized one-week program for government, military, corporate, and NGO leadership.
