Two IWP professors to speak at VOC Polish Studies Conference

Exterior of the Victims of Communism Museum

Dr. Marek Jan Chodakiewicz, IWP Kosciuszko Chair of Polish Studies, and Dr. John Lenczowski, IWP Founder, President Emeritus, and Chancellor, will speak at the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation’s annual Polish Studies Conference on March 23, 2023. 

The event, entitled “Knights of Liberty: Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński, Pope John Paul II, and President Ronald Reagan,” will take place at the Victims of Communism Museum in Washington, D.C. 

Dr. Chodakiewicz will moderate the first panel of the conference on “The Uncrowned King of Poland — Stefan Wyszyński,” and Dr. Lenczowski will moderate the second panel on “Liberating Europe: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism.”

At IWP, Dr. Chodakiewicz leads the Center for Intermarium Studies and teaches classes on diplomacy, geography and strategy, the Intermarium region, mass murder prevention, Russian politics and foreign policy, and the European Union. Dr. Lenczowski serves as Chancellor and co-teaches a course on International Relations, Statecraft, and Integrated Strategy.
