Garrett Johnson, co-founder and Chairman of the Lincoln Network and co-founder and COO of Hydrahost.com, has been elected to the IWP Board of Trustees.

As COO of Hydrahost.com, Mr. Johnson helps provide cross-cloud infrastructure for apps with high resiliency and security requirements.
He previously co-founded the Lincoln Network, a technology policy think tank and engineering lab. The Lincoln Network is where liberty and technology meet. Meanwhile, Lincoln Policy educates policymakers on the benefits of free markets in tech. Lincoln Studio seeks to make policy obsolete by creating and marketing disruptive new tech products that promote consumer choice.
Mr. Johnson was also a Co-founder of SendHub, a venture-backed startup based in Silicon Valley for which he helped secure more than $10 million in funding. After almost four years, SendHub was acquired by Cameo Global in 2015.
Garrett previously served as professional staff to the Ranking Member of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, where his oversight portfolio included Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Haiti. He was honored to be the principal author of legislation related to immigration and foreign assistance reform.
Mr. Johnson completed graduate studies at the University of Oxford in Migration Studies as a Rhodes Scholar. Originally from Florida, he took his undergraduate degrees from Florida State University magna cum laude in three years with a double major in Political Science and Literature. He was also a two time NCAA track champion.
