IWP presents West Point Cadet Benjamin Edwin Wettstein with cyber statecraft award

The U.S. Military Academy at West Point had its annual Awards Ceremony for graduating seniors on Thursday, 25 May 2023. Every year, The Institute of World Politics (IWP) is in attendance to present the “Excellence in Cyber Statecraft” to a graduating senior who has distinguished himself in the Cyber Intelligence field. This year’s award recipient was Cadet Benjamin Edwin Wettstein.

IWP Executive Vice President, Chris Glass, and IWP’s Chief Information Officer, Dean Lane, both retired Navy Captains, represented IWP and presented the Excellence in Cyber Statecraft award to Cadet Wettstein. Also in attendance for the ceremony were Cadet Wettstein’s mother, Mrs. Carrie Wettstein, and his sister Ms. Elsa Wettstein.

This is the fifth year that IWP has presented this award to a West Point cadet.
