Important Announcements and Tips

Holds on your account

Please be sure to resolve any holds that may restrict you from registration, i.e. Business Office hold, Multiple Incomplete Grade hold, Immunization Record not on file, etc. EMPOWER will give you an error message and you will not be able to complete your registration transaction if you have any holds on your account.

Continuous Enrollment

(THIS IS ONLY FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE NOT TAKING CLASSES AND ARE STUDYING/COMPLETING COMPREHENSIVE EXAMS OR ARE MAKING UP INCOMPLETE GRADES)

You must maintain continuous enrollment in order to maintain your graduate standing at the Institute. If you fail to maintain continuous enrollment (or officially request a leave of absence), you will be required to reapply for graduate admission and pay the readmission application fee. Students must be enrolled in the semester in which they are scheduled to graduate. For example, if a student has completed all of his or her coursework in the Spring, and will be taking the comprehensive exams in the Fall, the student MUST register for continuous enrollment during the Fall term to be considered an enrolled student and thus eligible for Fall graduation. This policy also applies to students that are completing Incompletes (from previous semesters) during the term in which they wish to graduate. Please contact the Registrar about registered for continuous enrollment. The Continuous Enrollment fee is $50.
