Former Director of Naval Intelligence RADM Thomas Brooks discusses HUMINT at IWP

Admiral Thomas Brooks 444x718Rear Admiral Thomas A. Brooks, United States Navy (retired) gave a lecture on “HUMINT: Myths and Reality” to a group of IWP students, alumni, fellows, and interns on January 23, 2015. 

RADM Brooks served for 33 years as a Naval Intelligence officer, retiring in 1991 as a Rear Admiral and Director of Naval Intelligence.  Admiral Brooks served nine years as an Adjunct Faculty member at the National Defense Intelligence College, where he taught courses on Intelligence History, Warning, and Industry-Intelligence Relationships.  He is past president of Naval Intelligence Professionals, past president of National Military Intelligence Association, and past Board member of Security Affairs Support Association (now known as INSA – Intelligence and National Security Association).
