IWP student Steven Feldman was recently awarded a scholarship that will underwrite the cost of basic polygraph training.
This William J. Yankee Memorial Scholarship, awarded by the American Polygraph Association (APA), also included a computer polygraph system donated (to Steven) by Limestone Technologies.
“I’m honored to have been selected for such a prestigious award from the APA and look forward to the opportunity to explore the polygraph and available tools in deception-detection, particularly how they relate to national security,” comments Steven. “I am grateful for the IWP faculty who encouraged me to apply and wrote my recommendations, and I think their faith and mentorship of me, even as a first semester student, really speaks to the type of person who chooses to teach at IWP.”
Steven is currently a project coordinator at the National Council for Science and the Environment, and is enrolled in IWP’s M.A. program.
