The editorial board Active Measures has been hard at work on this year’s edition of the IWP student-run academic journal. We are pleased to introduce you to Márcio, Nicole, and Katherine.
Márcio C. Coimbra graduated in Law with honors in 2000 from Unisinos in Brazil and is an Attorney specialised in International Law (UFRGS).
Holds an MBA in Economic Law from FGV and Master in Political Science from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Spain. In 2000 attended the Program of Instruction for Lawyers at Harvard Law School. Published five books, as main author and coordinator. With professional experience in the US, Europe and Latin America, worked in the private sector, think tanks, political campaigns and multilateral organisations. Published in business newspapers and magazines in Latin America and Europe and appeared in several political TV programs. Lecturer at the Catholic University of Brasília during four years. Member of the Mont Pelerin Society. Master candidate in Statecraft and International Affairs at the IWP.
Nicole D’Elia is beginning her second year in the Strategic Intelligence Studies M.A. program. She graduated from Lehigh University with a degree in Mathematics and History and currently works as a consultant for IT Strategic Planning for a civilian agency. Nicole is excited to be a member of the Active Measures Journal Editorial Board and is looking forward to reading all the great submissions!
Katherine Humphries is an experienced historian, historic preservationist, and blogger. Outside of being a student at IWP, Katherine teaches history at the College of Southern Maryland, is a researcher at Wikistrat, and is the senior editor for the student run Active Measures journal at IWP.
