IWP welcomes three new Student Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors Fall 2014 444x718Three new students have been selected to be Student Ambassadors and represent The Institute of World Politics to friends, supporters, and visitors to the school: Joyren, Austin, and Alex.  They join a group of ten veteran Student Ambassadors who have returned to participate in the program as second- and third-year students.

The Student Ambassador Program, which is run through the President’s Office and chaired by student Jaime Loizzo, recruits students to serve as special representatives of the Institute.  Katrina Klaus, another second-year student, serves as Communications Liaison.

“Alex, Austin, and Joyren are three great additions to IWP’s Student Ambassador Program,” commented Jaime.  “Each of them brings a unique skill set to the group and has already provided Katrina and myself with new ideas to improve and expand the current program. We are very impressed with the enthusiasm showed by all of the Student Ambassadors who attended last week’s orientation, and look forward to representing the Institute this year.”

This school year, Student Ambassadors have already organized an IWP team for the Arlington Police, Fire & Sheriff 9/11 Memorial Race and have represented the Institute at open houses and other events.
