Former IWP student Dennis Staszak has generously given nearly 400 books on national security, statecraft, counterintelligence, international security, and the economics of national security to the IWP library.
A 33-year veteran of the FBI and former Deputy Unit Chief of the FBI’s Foreign Counterintelligence and Counterterrorism Training Unit, Mr. Staszak studied at IWP before the school offered independent degree programs. Since then, he has remained involved with the IWP – giving a lecture on “How to Conduct a Foreign Counterintelligence Investigation,” volunteering at IWP’s alumni speed mentoring events, and spreading the word about the school to prospective students.
Most recently, he has been teaching a course on intelligence and counterintelligence at George Mason University.
Of his gift to the library, Mr. Staszak comments: “I hope that students of the IWP will find the books useful in their studies and research. They have been of tremendous value to me in lesson preparation for the GMU classes I teach on the various intelligence disciplines of the intelligence community, counterintelligence, and intelligence analysis.”
