IWP doctoral candidate Amanda Won has been selected to present her doctoral thesis on North Korean espionage for a panel on Great Power Competition at National Intelligence University’s 2022 Intelligence Studies Consortium. The panel will be moderated by Dr. Michael Ard, a former CIA analyst and manager who teaches at Johns Hopkins.
This event will take place at Georgetown University on April 7 from 9:00 AM-4:30 PM.
Amanda is the founder of the Asia Initiative Lecture Series (AILS) at IWP. She has spoken on North Korea several times at IWP: in a guest lecture for Prof. Sano’s course on North Korea and the Geopolitics of Northeast Asia, as a part of IWP’s Student Speaker Series, and at IWP’s 2019 Chancellor’s Council Meeting.
