IWP Professor Aaron A. Danis spoke at two events this month organized by the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth.

Prof. Danis spoke about “Global Workforce: Careers in International Relations” at an event for young professionals and college students on January 13. Ramona Harper, a retired Senior Foreign Service Officer of the U.S. Department of State, also participated in this discussion.

On January 14, Prof. Danis spoke at an event titled “Intelligence: A Leadership Development and Career Exploration Event” at the International Leadership of Texas Garland High School. Approximately 75 high school students and teachers from about eight different schools were in attendance.

Mike Pitstick, IWP Deputy Director of Graduate Recruitment, was also in attendance.

A former Senior Analyst with the U.S. Government, Prof. Danis teaches several courses at IWP, including American Domestic Terrorism in the Modern Era and Violent Non-State Actors in Today’s Security Environment.
