About the partnership

The Institute of World Politics is a graduate school located in Washington, D.C., with a focus on national security, intelligence, and international affairs.

IWP and the American Committees on Foreign Relations (ACFR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding in February 2024. This partnership is dedicated to advancing education in the critical areas of national security, intelligence, and international affairs. ACFR, a non-profit, nonpartisan organization, facilitates rigorous and informed foreign relations dialogue spanning from the Beltway to across the nation.

This partnership offers exceptional benefits to individuals who have participated in the Young Leaders Initiative, such as:

  • Gaining special financial support, including “partnership scholarships” totaling $2,200 per semester for at least ten individuals annually.
  • Obtaining reduced tuition rates of $500 per credit hour for IWP’s online M.A. programs, enhancing access to quality education.
  • The Early Assurance program that offers a direct pathway to IWP’s Master of Arts (M.A.) programs, paving the way for pre-approved admission.
  • Receive priority consideration for internships offered by IWP.
