This course is designed to review the material covered in IWP 951 and to further develop reading, writing, listening, and conversational skills at B1 proficiency level (intermediate low ACTFL scale level). Students at this level will be able to read, listen, and discuss short news articles from contemporary Russian media and conduct discussions on various topics at the intermediate low level of proficiency. They are taught to develop basic translation skills and familiarizing themselves with translation resources such as dictionaries, topical glossaries, etc.
