Making a gift from your IRA
If you are age 70 1/2 or older, you may be able to donate up to $100,000 tax free from your IRA each year. It is important to consider your own situation in deciding whether to make a charitable gift from your IRA. Please consult with your financial advisor to determine whether this type of donation is right for you.

The Combined Federal Campaign is a charity program run by the Office of Personnel Management through which federal civilian, postal, and military donors may support nonprofit organizations through contributions that are withdrawn directly from their paychecks. This campaign launches September and runs through January. During this time, gifts can be made to IWP.
If you are a federal employee or a member of our armed services who is interested in supporting IWP through this campaign, you can use CFC #89424. The CFC website will have more information about opportunities in your workplace.

Many companies sponsor matching gift programs and will match donations made by their employees or spouses to qualified institutions. Some companies will double or even triple the match amount.
Contact the Human Resources department at your workplace to see if they participate in a matching gift program. If they do, let the HR department know and they will give you the necessary paperwork to complete.
