The capitalist West, and in particular Western corporations, are generally blamed for environmental degradation. Yet, as Dr. Chodakiewicz shows in this article, it was the communists who presided over the greatest pollution of the environment in history. Moreover, Dr. Chodakiewicz demonstrates, it was only the collapse of communism that allowed the Poles to clean up the damage.
